Reaching new heights in 5C!!
Hello, Welcome back to school. I hope you all had a great summer and are ready to get back to learning. I am Amy Hagge and I am to start my second year here at St. Stephen the Martyr. I really enjoyed getting to know everyone last year and am looking forward to this year. Here are some things you might want to know about me. I received my teaching degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, but chose to stay home and raise my children. While my children were growing up I did substitute teach for four years and really learned a lot from the experience, but realized I really wanted a classroom of my own. This will be my sixth year of teaching fifth grade.
I mentioned my children, I have four of them. Jake is a junior at Creighton Prep, he enjoys playing football and baseball for Prep. Jimmy is a freshman at Creighton Prep and is a cowboy. He is presently learning how to be a calf-roper and hopefully will soon start participating in rodeos. Joey is also going to be a freshman at Creighton Prep and enjoys basketball and baseball and hopes to be playing for CP. Lastly, is there is Megan. She is also going to be a freshman but at Marian. She enjoys playing basketball so hopefully this winter you will find me in the gym and CP or Marian.
I live on a farm in Gretna. We have horses, dogs, cows, and one cat Maybelle. My husband and I have been married for 22 years. I love to play golf, when we get the opportunity to play. My other loves besides the people mentioned above are KU basketball, reading, photography, playing board games, and gardening.
I look forward to getting to know each and everyone of you this year!
